}" border="0" /> 　　宋庆龄汉口旧居位于风光独特的武汉外滩－－汉口沿江大道162号，宋庆龄汉口旧居始建于1896年，原为俄国华俄道胜银行，后为国民政府财政部。1926年国民党中执委在庐山召开会议，决定民国政府迁都武汉。宋庆龄等为筹备建都事宜于1926年16月10日先期到达武汉，下榻国民政府财政部。宋庆龄在此度过了一段纵身难忘的峥嵘岁月。 　　1927年是中国现代史上风云聚变的一年。时为都城的武汉更是处在政治漩涡之中。“一三”惨案。收回应租界、汪精卫“七一五”政变等历史事件都发生在这里。作为国民党中执委的宋庆龄，在这期间故居发表了“讨蒋通电”和“七一四”声明，以维护孙中山的三民主义和联俄、联共、辅助农工的三大政策。为使世界了解中国，支持中国的革命斗争，宋庆龄先后在此处接待了美国著名记者，通过他们的笔向世界介绍了中国革命的史实，以赢得世界民主进步力量的支持。宋庆龄虽然在此处工作和生活的时间不长（才7个月），却在现代中国革命史上留下了深远的影响。 </div>

美丽而倔强的女孩出嫁了，第一次违背父母的意思，嫁给心目中能拯救中国的英雄。她给父母留下书信，告别了她的充满了温馨甜美童年回忆的屋子。这桩年龄悬殊的婚姻在当时引起的震骇是可以想见的，这恐怕也是她艰难的一生所遇到的第一次严酷的考验。“从现在起，她将永远无法逃避众目睽睽之下的无情怒视和即使是最不可能的事端也会招来责难的可能性。”
然而这对夫妇非常幸福，他所有亡命年月所忍受的苦难和孤寂，都从她那里得到了补偿。
婚后她在给美国的同学的信中说：“你记得吗？在蒙特里特时我们去听卡梅伦先生所做的关于中国的图解讲课，他给我们看了一张孙逸仙博士的照片。当时我没有想象过我们两人之间会有超过朋友的关系。但这是命运。”
