据外电5月17日报道，一项最新科研成果显示，未来数十年内，夫妻间将不再通过性爱活动来孕育新生命，试管受精将成为人们的首选。
来自澳大利亚珀斯默多克大学的教授们声称，对于30岁的年轻人来说，他们将越来越多的依靠人工受精的方法怀孕，因为自然的人类生殖显得“相当低效”。
这就是说，在未来，性行为将成为一种单纯的娱乐活动，而不是像基督教义中批判的那样：做爱将产生生命。
在最新一期的《生殖新周刊》中，人类学教授约维奇和他的同事们发表了这项研究成果。研究显示，在未来5至10年内，将有40%的夫妇在“造人”之前会首先考虑试管受精的方法。
虽然目前看来，身体健康的夫妇通过试管受精育婴的成功率只有50%，但科学家们认为，在不远的将来，试管受精将成为比自然受孕效率更高的育婴方法。
